Tales from the Porch IV: Art is a Language is an exploration of visual, performing and literary arts through a documentary film, multimedia arts exhibition, and live performance series. The film features artists Julia Bottoms, Bob Fleming, George Hughes, Phyllis Thompson, and Muhammad Zaman, all of whom share a deep connection with Buffalo Arts Studio.

Juneteenth: Faith & Freedom. This unscripted documentary invites viewers into the story of Juneteenth - the holiday recognizing the end of legalized slavery in Texas - through the eyes of a Black man learning about the holiday from the direct descendants of those liberated.

ASI and Get Fokus'd Productions invite you to attend an information session on Thursday, December 7th at 6:00 pm at 500 Seneca. This is a chance for you to explore “The Art of Pursuing Grants” workshop content, objectives, and methods, as well as to interact with the facilitators and other interested participants.

At this years Let There Be Light international Annual Solar Celebration, Get Fokus’d Productions will receive recognition for community efforts and arts & education programming through our work, Tales from the Porch.
