Ways We Give Back

1. Support for Organizations

Through our Reciprocal Partnership program, we provide affordable creative services and occasionally sponsor services for organizations ‘Fokus’d’ on improving the quality and access to the five key health determinants.

We achieve this by creating hands-on educational programs that connect our emerging artists with these organizations, allowing them to work on income earning projects that help build their portfolio.

2. Tales from the Porch Initiative

Tales from the Porch: We amplify the voices within the community through capturing and sharing human first stories through media arts in order to ignite thought and expand perspectives. We provide creative arts programs in order for the community to engage with the Tales from the Porch stories.

3. Fokus’d Kreatives

Fokus’d Kreatives is a creative arts apprenticeship program developed by Aitina Fareed-Cooke, Founder and CEO of Get Fokus’d Productions (GFP), in order to support Emerging Artists in honing their artistic skills within the creative arts field.

The program provides Emerging Artists (ages 16-25) with various paid project-based opportunities, often tailored to support their unique artistic and professional needs.

By engaging in career-building activities and emphasizing their artistic talents, the program aims to motivate Emerging Artists to refine their craft and pave the way for their success within the creative arts industry.
