Antwan’s Story
After years of addiction, living homeless and being incarcerated, Antwan found purpose in helping youth through workforce development.
Deep in the cave of my own choices.
Surrounded by the whispers of darkness.
Haunted by my enslavement to substance.
There is where I yearned for illumination.
Seeking for a place of peace. Solitude.
I found myself on this unknown road.
Hopeful that I will find my way down this valley.
Yet persevering on this battlefield of life.
