Gail V. Wells is the Founder of Buffalo Freedom Gardens.
The Freedom Gardens initiative, founded by long-time Grassroots Gardener, Ms. Gail V. Wells, is designed to inspire resilience and independence for Buffalo residents most impacted by COVID19 and food apartheid.

Emerging above is the freedom within this garden of life all in existence and shared on our porch
Get Fokus’d Productions (GFP) was awarded funding by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) through Arts Services Inc.’s fiscal sponsorship in support of the second iteration of Tales from the Porch. This groundbreaking exhibition amplifies stories told by minority-owned businesses and organizations impacting the Buffalo, NY community.
